How long does the LSPD training take?
A training session consists of both an in game training and a ride-along with a Field Training Officer (FTO). The training portion lasts approximately 2 hours, followed by a 1-hour ride-along to apply what was learned in the field.
Is the LSPD training difficult?
The training is challenging by design, meant to develop highly competent officers. However, even if you have no prior experience, you can successfully complete it as long as you stay attentive and follow instructions. Dedication and focus are all that’s needed to pass, even if you’re brand new to law enforcement roleplay.
What do I need to do to become a police officer with TNRP | LSPD?
To join our ranks, you must successfully complete our training & pass your basic ride along, thoroughly review all provided documents and channels, and demonstrate commitment to our departmental standards. We highly recommend starting with our "Get Started" video for LSPD.
Can I interact with civilians before I'm trained?
No. It is a strict rule that new players and recruits are not permitted to interact with real civilians until they have successfully completed all required training and received official certification. This policy ensures professional and appropriate roleplay interactions.
What are the most important steps for a new recruit to get started?
The very first steps for any new recruit are to watch the dedicated "Get Started" video for LSPD, and to carefully read all the essential documents and information available in our designated channels. This will set you up for smooth onboarding and understanding of our RP server.
Are there any common misconceptions about TNRP | LSPD?
We strive for clarity in all our operations. While there aren't many widespread myths, we always encourage recruits to ask questions if anything is unclear. Our focus is on clear communication and consistent adherence to server rules and departmental policies.
